The Gateway Parrot Club is not aware of any show rules promulgated by the SPBE, other than the Novice Division entry rules below. Should they exist, the Judge will apply them to the Show. Should their be any conflict between Affiliate rules and GPC rules, GPC rules will prevail.
NOVICE RULES AND REGULATIONS
A Novice Exhibitor is one who has never placed on the top bench at an Open Show. A Novice Exhibitor may place three (3) times on the top bench before advancing to the Open Subdivisions. Birds that are purchased and have already earned Championship points with another exhibitor (previous owner) are not eligible for entry in the Novice Subdivision.
The Novice Subdivision may include birds with clipped wings but such birds will be penalized when they are competing against the other four (4) Subdivisions. No Exhibitor can show in Novice and another Subdivision in the same show.
