A Cow-Calf-ony of Cow-Mingled Creatures

It was part of a decorated cow sculpture project (similar to the ones in Chicago, NYC, and elsewhere) to raise funds for homeless and abused children and other domestic social services. The Feather Distribution Project contributed several thousand non-sacred feathers to the effort (non-sacred meaning feathers that neither the Pueblos nor members of the Native American Church use such as the Tawny Frogmouth and Black Crowned Night Heron that zoos contribute to us.
