2011 - GPC Bird Shows

The GPC was founded in 1988, in conjunction with a parrot show.  The show came first and needed a Club as sponsor.  The early Club had a strong focus on breeding and showing.  Over the years emphasis shifted away from breeding toward rescue and rehabilitation, with a strong caretaker/owner focus.

In 2009 we revisited showing with a sanctioned Cockatiel show managed by one of our members.  That was a positive experience and we have continued.  This year we plan to have two Cockatiel shows and one for all parrots.  Sandy Warren is our Chairperson for these events.

You can sponsor a Class in a show and/or place an ad in the show program.  Show program ads will also appear in the general, All-American Hookbill Fair program.  Details here...
