Veterinarian - Dawn Gau, DVM

Dr. Dawn M. Gau is a St Louis native and graduate of Lafayette High School in Ellisville, MO. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Veterinary Medicine as well. During veterinary school she earned awards for her work in poultry and raptor medicine and her commitment to the human - animal bond. She was an active member of the Raptor Rehabilitation Project for six years. She also completed a seven week externship at the Bird Medicine & Surgery Clinic in Chesterfield, MO with Dr David Kersting, DVM.

Dr Gau also participates in canine obedience and pet therapy. where she takes her pets to visit hospital patients and nursing home residents. Dr Gau presently shares her home with three dogs, Gertie, Gretel and Kelsy and a cockatiel named Arthur.
